MECW HOME OF THE MOST ACTION PACKED WRESTLING IN THE ST. LOUIS AREA!!!!!!

                                                                                 The Bob O'Bryan Report
Greetings MECW family,

Welcome to the very first installment of the "Bob O'Bryan Report". If you haven't guessed yet, i am Bob O'Bryan; news reporter, journalist and long time wrestling fan.

First thing I would like to do is congratulate Sarrin Sinn & Mike Anthony for becoming the new MECW tag team champions, as well as Eric Allen for becoming the new MECW Great Plains Champion. Now many of you might not agree upon how either of these title changes took place as both were in controversial fashion.

In the tag team title match Mauler McDarby was taken out with a leg injury on behalf of the challengers (at that time) Sinn and Anthony. Thus leaving Maddog McDowell all alone to battle against this brotherhood of sin! These two men were just to much to over come by himself, and 3 seconds later The Brawlers' lost the gold. With the beating that Sinn & Anthony gave to Maddog, it wouldn't surprise me if we don't see him for awhile.

The other title change that occurred at the March 26th show, was Eric Allen becoming the new MECW Great Plains Champion. After defeating Zack Thompson and Barry Ryte in a triple threat match. Allen won the championship with help from his body guard Chris Logan, who hit Ryte with the belt allowing
Allen to pick up the victory. Mr K., who was not in attendance at this show was outraged when he found out the way the match ended. He was so furious that he suspended Chris Logan from MECW indefinitely! He also booked Eric Allen in a championship match on May 21st against the man who never lost the title, Barry Ryte.

With #1 contender for the MECW Heavyweight Championship Chris Logan being suspended indefinitely, who will Mr. K, make the new #1 contender for Bailey Mannix's Heavyweight championship? Will it be our very own "youth sensation" Evan Money? Who has had several matches before with Mannix, in which he came just 1 second away from beating him.Or will it be Evan Money's tag team partner "the last rebel" Buddy Roberts Jr?  Roberts had been on the loosing end of his most recent matches but always shows heart and determination, will that be enough to be ranked in line for a title shot? While we are on the subjects of tag teams, how about either of the new Tag Team Champions , Mike Anthony or the "kingpin" Sarrin Sinn? Perhaps there showing of tag team dominance will  automatically deem one of these individuals to a title shot? Or maybe it will be Shawn Santel, who is pound for pound on of the best wrestlers in MECW. Will his technical skills that he has
acquired over his many years of experience grant him a shot at MECW's most coveted championship. How about Barry Ryte? One of MECW's fastest rising stars ,whose rise to the top was put on hold last year when he was diagnosed with cancer.  Can 2011 be a better year for Ryte? It defiantly will be if he has an opportunity to become MECW heavyweight champion. Perhaps no one is more deserving than former MECW heavyweight champion, and current great plains champion Eric Allen? Allen knows what it takes to be on top of the mountain, could he be given another shot???

In other news, an insider source has reported that they witnessed MECW Independent champion Jimmy Rockwell get attacked while leaving the MECW arena at there last show. This witness called the cops and claims that Rockwell was taken away in an ambulance. What dose this mean for both Rockwell and the Independent championship????

Hopefully all these questions will be answered on May 21st 2011.  Will you be there?? I know I will .
Bob O'Bryan
